Olbia have two days to prepare for the match against Real Monterotondo. After the three-day layoff announced by captain Daniele Ragatzu after the derby against Monastir in protest against the club's delinquent ownership, while awaiting further developments within the club, the Whites have the opportunity to use today's and tomorrow's training sessions to arrive at the Cecconi Stadium in Monterotondo on Sunday in minimal condition.
All have been called up for the training sessions in which coach Giancarlo Favarin will have to reinvent the eleven he will send out against the second-to-last team in the matchday 13 of Serie D: in the stampede of recent days, the absences due to suspension of Buschiazzo in defense and Biancu in midfield, in addition to that of Putzu due to injury, weigh doubly.
However, it is essential that the match is played since, beyond the 3 points lost by default otherwise, by missing two matches Olbia would be excluded from the championship, and since there have been no appeals to the Arbitration Board for back wages, by not participating in the away match organised by the club the players risk disciplinary sanctions (up to suspension) pursuant to the Collective Agreement signed by AIC, FIGC and LND.
Arguments that reinforce the sense of duty and attachment to the jersey demonstrated so far by Ragatzu and his teammates.
