Fiber Art arrives in Olbia with Cenzo Cocca's solo show. At the Archaeological Museum, until November 8th, it will be possible to admire the works of the young artist inspired by the essence of human feelings.

“How merciful is the heart” is an investigation into man which «for Cenzo - we read in the introduction to the exhibition - means giving substance to inner thoughts, studying them, highlighting them, depicting them. The purpose of artistic work is a way to highlight the palpitation of the heart, how much it feels, how much it moves and how much it guides us."

With a sartorial background, the artist from Ghilarza has transposed his love for needle and thread, making the word sewn a true stylistic feature. At the Museum the sewn portraits, among the artist's first works, and the masks created in the last year of work based on readings and experiments (on the theme of the human mind and the meaning of the sacred) but also "A long and delicate memory not to be forgotten”, a large blue suture made on a large fabric donated to Cocca by a woman from Monteleone Roccadoria , which represents the beginning of the artist's journey on the theme of stitching and wounds to heal.

Exhibited in various museums in Sardinia, Cenzo Cocca's works have skilfully sailed the sea, becoming appreciated in the Peninsula and abroad (among others Bergamo Arte Fiera 2023, Gallerie Florèal Belleville and Jacques Lèvy in Paris, LUCO exhibition in L'Aquila). The solo show, sponsored by the Municipality of Olbia, is organized by the Cultural Association “Per Arte Vie”, founded in 2023 by the will of blogger Daniele Pipitone, curator of the project, with the aim of enhancing contemporary art with particular interest in artists young and emerging people and the art produced in Sardinia.
