Olbia has made Gianmarco Staffa's farewell official: the Roman midfielder, born in 2000, is saying goodbye after 19 games played in the white shirt, between the league and the Serie D Italian Cup, and 5 goals scored.
"The Olbia Calcio 1905 club announces that Gianmarco Staffa is no longer a player for Olbia Calcio. The decision - reports today's press release - was made after the boy expressed his desire to leave Sardinia. Even if reluctantly - we read further - the club has decided to please Gianmarco, wishing him the best for the rest of his career".
It remains to be seen who will be the new captain of Olbia after the departure of Staffa, who inherited the armband in November from Luca La Rosa.
