Thirty-seven panels documenting the genocide of the Ukrainian people, perpetrated by the USSR in the early thirties of the last century (1932 - 1933) with an artificial famine that starved the population through the requisition of all agricultural resources in the name of agricultural collectivization.

On the occasion of the ninetieth anniversary of the "extermination by hunger" that killed millions of Ukrainians, the photographic exhibition Holodomar is set up at the Archaeological Museum of Olbia from today until next December 18th, displayed in conjunction with the day of the anniversary, falling on last Saturday in November, after international recognition as a mass crime.

"The intent is to remember this dark period and the people who disappeared due to hunger: thanks to initiatives like these we can keep the memory of the victims alive and raise awareness so that similar catastrophes do not happen again", comments the councilor Culture, Sabrina Serra.
