A daring victory on the pitch and an equally incredible final which saw the expulsion of a manager of the Ittiri Sprint football club for insulting the referee.

The sports judge imposed a severe sanction on Maurizio Solinas , assistant on the side on the occasion of the First Category championship match played last Saturday against Campanedda.

In the 27th minute of the second half, the manager, according to what was recorded by the referee, was expelled because he allegedly grabbed and tried to drag a player from the opposing team off the pitch, who ended up on the ground for a foul.

He would then approach the referee to put his hands around his neck and, continuing with offensive words, would push him backwards a few metres. Some players who immediately intervened tried in vain to make him desist.

Solinas, struggling, would have used the flag he was still holding in his hand, to hit the referee on the right arm.

At that juncture, despite being blocked by several Ittiri players, the manager would continue to offend the referee with insulting sentences. The behavior was punished with the ban on being on the pitch until 30 June 2024 , with the consequent administrative sanction applied to the club.

At the end of the match some members of the Campanedda football club, not yet identified, allegedly hit a locker room door several times, causing it to break. Therefore the sports judge established the obligation to pay compensation for damages to the company Ittiri Sprint.
