Green light of the Regional Council to the bill for the recognition of off-balance sheet debts for an amount of about 40 million, about thirty accrued in the local authority department. It was feared for the holding of the quorum, but in the end the Chamber was able to approve with 28 votes in favor and 18 against. The figure includes hundreds of thousands of euros for unpaid utilities: telephone bills, leasing fees, almost 580 thousand euros to be paid for surveillance services carried out in 2019 without commitment, but above all 26.8 million for concierge services and armed surveillance in regional buildings used for institutional and non-institutional purposes. The commissioner Quirico Sanna had to defend himself from the opposition accusation of not having supervised and of having so far mismanaged the machine of local authorities and urban planning. In the end, however, the majority squared around the head of the local authorities.
THE ATTACK - The opposition has "invited" the regional councilor to local authorities Quirico Sanna to resign.
He did so through the voice of Alessandro Solinas (M5S), minority speaker of the bill for the recognition of off-balance sheet debts for an amount of about forty million euros almost entirely accrued in the Sanna department.
"You have the task of supervising the activity - Solinas said to the representative of the Executive in the Chamber - which you did not do adequately".
According to the pentastellato "this lack is pigeonholed into a mosaic that does not prove in favor of Sanna, let's think of all the contested laws of the competence of the local-urban planning authorities, of the provisions on the provinces, on the house plan, on the authentic interpretation of the landscape plan regional".
All this, "should lead to evaluations on the composition of this council, the commissioner should consider withdrawing because the Sardinians are waiting for answers that he has not been able to give".
LeU group leader Eugenio Lai pointed out “the various absences in the Chamber of the majority directors who obviously do not like this provision. In particular, several members of the Psd'Az group are missing. For this Sanna must become aware of the fact that his work is not only under the magnifying glass of the opposition but also of the majority who today are denying him trust ".
THE REPLICA - "I sleep soundly because I am well aware of the sense of duty". So replied the representative of the Giunta Solinas.
"The ability of this department will be judged by the Sardinians when the time comes, first of all I will answer for my work to the majority who have trusted me".
The leader of the PSd'Az Franco Mula also intervened in favor of the councilor: "The fate of the councilor Sanna is not going to be decided by this Chamber tonight".
