After a successful trip to Roccella Jonica in Calabria and a stop in Quartu, Ottobre in Poesia, the first international festival in Sardinia entirely dedicated to poetry, arrives in Sassari tomorrow, now in its 19th edition.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the Provincial Auditorium on Via Monte Grappa, where Giommaria Monti will meet with students from the Devilla Institute for an intense discussion on Falcone and Borsellino: amidst slander, betrayal, and tragedy, this is an unprecedented account of the lives of two magistrates who were symbols of the fight against the Mafia.

The two previews were well received, featuring poetic installations, literary and musical events, and Roccella Jonica and Quartu were vibrantly infused with poetry and art.

October in Poetry will move to Tissi on Friday and to Villacidro on Saturday and Sunday. The festival will conclude in Sassari, from October 23rd to 28th, with six days of poetry, music, meetings, and international performances.
