The star of Oasis shines again on the night in Cardiff , with brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher finally together after 16 years in a historic reunion : they went up on stage side by side, raising their arms, hand in hand, with the audience in ecstasy.
The kings of Brit-pop enchanted the 74,000 spectators at the Principality Stadium with its gigantic closed roof, transformed from the home of Welsh rugby into a temple of music, with their electric guitars and melodious riffs.
"It's good to be back," Liam said during the first song, sparking further excitement among the fans, before moving on with the band to another hit, 'Acquiesce', in which both brothers sang together, to bury the hatchet: "We need each other". And then again the frontman, unleashed, moved the audience by underlining, "it's been too long", in a performance that kicks off a world tour with 41 concerts, between the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Japan, Australia and Brazil and over 900,000 tickets already sold.
The setlist features all the Manchester band's biggest hits, in a great return to the nineties.
