Nuraghi UNESCO heritage site, new step forward
A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the association “Sardinia towards UNESCO” and “Nuragica Museum Experience”A new collaboration to disseminate, know and become aware of the Sardinian Nuragic heritage also and above all in terms of the future development of Sardinia .
Starting from this essential principle, this morning the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Association "Sardinia towards UNESCO" and "Nuragica Museum Experience" to give the go-ahead to a new synergy that will see the two associations involved to constitute the basis on which in the future cultural initiatives useful for promoting knowledge of the nuraghi can be based.
«Thanks to the important initiatives implemented in recent years - said the president of “Sardinia towards UNESCO”, Pierpaolo Vargiu -, which has seen both realities involved, it is now evident how the ancient Sardinian civilization is an attraction international and at the same time the main path for new development prospects that guarantee constant and lasting growth for Sardinia".
The concept was reiterated by Paolo Alberto Pinna , founder of the Nuragica format: «We are convinced of the strategic importance of the UNESCO candidacy of the sites of excellence of the Nuragic heritage due to the undoubted benefits that this can generate in terms of protection and valorisation but also of growth cultural and economic development of the Island".
