Following the tensions of recent days and the threatened return of the keys to the Frogheri Stadium, a first sign of openness has arrived between Nuorese Calcio 1930 and the city administration. Today, the club's leaders, led by President Gianni Pittorra, met with Mayor Emiliano Fenu and Sports Councilor Natascia Demurtas at the City Hall to begin discussions and seek a mutually agreed-upon solution. At the end of the meeting, which lasted several hours, a joint statement was released in which the parties described the meeting as "absolutely constructive," during which they defined their respective positions.
"The discussions will continue in the coming days with the aim of reaching a shared agreement, in the best interests of Nuoro sports and the city," the official statement reads. This formally opens a negotiation phase following the institutional dispute that led the club to symbolically hand over the keys to the municipal facility.
