Today the employees, 60 workers who take care of the maintenance of the roads and school buildings belonging to the Province and 10 employees of the administrative sector, gave life to a demonstration in Piazza Italia, in front of the headquarters of the Province.

"The Nugoro does not touch everyone in the fight" is written on the billboard exhibited by the workers who showed up with the yellow uniform of the order.

As employees we ask that this hole be remedied, for this next Thursday we have a new meeting with the Province in which the regional councilors of the territory will also participate. Among us there is the specter of job loss and if this month we have been able with difficulty to get our salaries paid from next month we do not know how it will end. Region so that we think about fixing the hole in the budget and keeping the company going ".

The employees of Nugoro Spa have drawn up a document with the request for three key points: wage guarantee, training and safety courses and stabilization of the still precarious workers. "It is not clear what the choices of the Province and of our administrators are with respect to the life of Nugoro Spa and the fear is that they want to outsource services through private companies - reports Paolo Cau, another employee of the company -. Not only a dramatic solution for us employees but for the entire economy of the territory. We are afraid of losing our jobs. We ask local politicians and our institutions to stand by us in this battle ".
