CAGLIARI, 1 DECEMBER 2025. Castiadas is preparing for the landing of NUES2025, the final phase of the first Sardinian air show that will see numerous ultralight pilots glide over the south-eastern coast of Sardinia.
The three-day event, from Saturday the 6th to Monday the 8th, will include excursions, tastings, and free test flights aboard airplanes led by instructors from the Aeroclub d'Italia. During the event, which last weekend featured dozens of promotional flights at the Perdasdefogu airfield, 30 students from the Mossa Aeronautical Institute in Oristano will have their first flight at the Siliqua airfield.
The flight schools involved in the initiative, funded by the Region, are "Tana del Volo" in Siliqua, led by Daniele Piano, and Advanced Aviation in Castiadas, led by Paolo Contini and Marco di Belardino, all pilots with thousands of hours under their belts.
The event, organized by the Gest social cooperative, is held with the enthusiastic support of the Municipality of Castiadas: "It's an extraordinary tool," says Mayor Eugenio Murgioni, "to promote our area, admire it from above and then travel through it with your feet on the ground, experiencing the landscapes, flavors, and culture of a community working to extend the tourist season."
The event will be attended by the regional councilor for tourism, Franco Cuccureddu, and local administrators. Visitors to Castiadas will find hotel and restaurant businesses fully operational, as assured by the Pro Loco tourist office and the Castiadas ospitale association, Marianna Seu. All contact information for participating businesses is available on the official website: www.manifestazionenues.it
