Rai1 has decided to suspend the broadcast of the second edition of "Noos" , the program hosted by Alberto Angela, until the end of the Olympics, avoiding the merciless comparison with the final of the reality show broadcast tonight.

The audience data is merciless. The Mediaset program, produced by Maria De Filippi's Fascino and hosted by Filippo Bisciglia, reached 31.1% in the last episode. Almost tripling Noos, stuck at 11.5%.

After some indiscretions on the matter, Viale Mazzini confirmed its choice and motivated it as follows: «It was taken, in agreement with the host , to best protect and enhance a product of excellence , which represents a unicum in the Italian television panorama and it is a flagship of public service, thanks to Angela's passion, top-quality dissemination skills and professionalism. It is no coincidence that Noos is the most popular TV program according to Qualitel data. And precisely in consideration of all this, the appointment with the program is only postponed : the journey of cultural dissemination and of Angela, in all fields of knowledge, continues."

The host wrote on social media: «We are fully operational and working on the creation of the last three episodes of this season which will be broadcast on 22 and 29 August and 5 September . I will therefore be waiting for you from August 22nd to resume our journey into knowledge. Noos move on! We work for culture."
