The national rugby season for Sardinian teams will take off a week late. This is due to the long-standing dispute over territorial continuity, which last week created problems for organizing transfers to and from the island.
Thus, on Sunday, Amatori Alghero was unable to take off towards Parabiago, where they should have played the first day of group 1 of the Serie A national championship. The challenge was thus postponed to Sunday 14 November, while the seasonal debut of the Alghero team has been postponed for seven days, Sunday 24 October, when Milan will step on the grass of Maria Pia's stadium. The Milanese made their debut by trimming a heavy 33-3 to the Ligurians of Pro Recco.
Same situation, in group 1 of Serie B, for Amatori Capoterra, who should have challenged Bergamo at the municipal field in Via Trento. But the Orobics could not leave and, also in this case, the challenge will be held on November 14th. On Sunday, the capoterresi will fly to Rovato, in Bresciano, to look for the first points of the season at the Pagani Stadium. Rovato who made his debut by winning 28-26 at the Union Monferrato.
