A stellar year for Radiolina, according to official data from the Audiradio 2025 survey, which confirms the Piazza L'Unione Sarda station as Sardinia's radio station, the undisputed leader in audience ratings and a key source of regional news and entertainment.

The data

To be precise, in the survey period from January 28 to December 22, 2025, Radiolina reached 321,000 listeners over a seven-day period, 132,000 on an average day, and 10,000 over an average quarter of an hour. "These numbers demonstrate a broad, solid, and transversal leadership, built day after day through a direct and constant relationship with the Sardinian public," says Lia Serreli, general manager of the Unione Sarda Group. "Along with the strength of its data, Radiolina stands out for its editorial project strongly oriented towards multimedia and information. The radio station is simulcast on Videolina and Unione TV (channel 12 of digital terrestrial), becoming an integrated system capable of uniting radio, TV, and digital platforms in a single, continuous, accessible, and recognizable information flow." Everything can then be listened to again in podcasts, ensuring you don't miss a thing. Hundreds of interviews are now available on Spotify and, of course, on the website radiolina.it.

The information

As loyal listeners know, the program schedule has undergone a radical transformation over the past two years, focusing on news. This new direction was strongly supported by publisher Sergio Zuncheddu, who asked journalists from all the publishing group's publications to enthusiastically join the project. "A key element of the success is the editorial team's collaborative work," explains director Emanuele Dessì, who coordinates the editorial project with deputy director Stefano Birocchi. "The journalists of the Unione Sarda Group rotate hour after hour, in a passionate relay of voices, expertise, and experience, to engage live with Sardinians, discussing the island's regions, communities, current affairs, and identity." Sports news, a key aspect of which Radiolina has historically been a key player, is a must: it is the radio station of Cagliari Calcio, with commentary, live broadcasts, and in-depth analysis that accompany fans throughout the season.

The music

The data also supports the music side, which since 2025 has benefited from the valuable consultancy of John Vignola, who, working in synergy with Luca Carcassi, ensures a strong focus on quality, both in the sounds of the past and those of the present. This is also a positive result for advertisers, who are increasing their investment in the station, demonstrating the results they are achieving. In short, the station has a strong presence in the region thanks to its numerous live broadcasts, where music, storytelling, and entertainment are excellent companions.
