Castelsardo is ready to offer a fireworks New Year's Eve for the 23rd time, and not just for the traditional fireworks display from the Doria fortress that will illuminate and brighten New Year's Eve. The duo of Anna (Pepe) and J-Ax brings together three decades of music. The impressive security and safety system will allow everyone to enjoy the last night of 2025 and bid farewell to 2026. Between Piazza Nuova, where the stage has been set up, and the Via Roma area with the giant screen, there will be a capacity of 10,000 people. The artists: At 9 pm, a DJ set will heat up the square. At 10 PM, the queen of Spotify arrives, La Spezia-born rapper Anna (Pepe), who at just 22 years old has shattered records: over 15 number one spots on the FIMI singles chart, over 4 million certified copies in Italy, 43 platinum records and 9 gold records, and the Vera Baddie Tour, which sold out 10 arenas, including Rome, Milan, and Florence. A countdown to midnight will mark the start of the on-stage fireworks display from the Rocca dei Doria. It will be up to J-Ax to usher in 2026 with music (and what a rhythm!). A pioneer of Italian hip hop with Articolo 31, the Milanese artist has been on the scene since 1990, and his longevity is demonstrated by his many albums, the latest of which, "Protoromanza," was released in 2024, again as Articolo 31, and by his "invitation" to the Sanremo Festival. Collaborations with Neffa and many other artists demonstrate J-Ax's remarkable open-mindedness and musicality. The evening will be hosted by Matteo Bruni. Shuttle service. From 8:00 PM on December 31, 2025, to 3:30 AM on January 1, 2026, a shuttle service will operate with three departures from the Lu Bagnu satellite parking lots. Parking is available not only at Lu Bagnu, but also at the Marina, on Via Sedini opposite the sports field, and in the Li Russi area. Six ambulances, two of which are equipped with emergency medical services, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and over one hundred security and healthcare workers are stationed at various locations to ensure everyone's safety. Volunteers from the CVSM association and the Barracellare Corps will also be on hand. A dedicated area for people with disabilities will be available, but they must reserve their space by contacting the Tourist Office (tel. 079/6762792, email ufficioturismo@comune.castelsardo.it). The only access routes to the concert are Via Roma and Via Sedini. Vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from driving and parking on the streets and in the public and private open spaces adjacent to the Doria Castle up to a distance of 50 meters from 11:45 PM on December 31, 2025, until 12:30 AM on January 1, 2026. It is forbidden to bring glass bottles, cans, plastic containers with caps, firecrackers, pepper spray, and other potentially dangerous objects into the red zone of the concert. Traffic and prohibitions - Traffic is prohibited from 4 PM on December 31, 2025, until 4 AM on January 1, 2026, on the following streets: Via Roma (intersection with Via Salvino), up to Via Sedini (intersection with Via Giua) in both directions; Via Colombo from the intersection with Via Sedini to the intersection with Via Giovanni XXIII; Via Mameli; Via Nazionale; Via Trieste from the intersection with Via Nazionale to Via Roma; Via Trento (upper section) from the intersection with Via Confraternita di Santa Croce to Via Roma; Via Dante Alighieri; Via Diaz; Via Marina; Via Carducci; Via Vespucci to the intersection with Via Giovanni XXIII. During the same hours, a parking ban will be implemented, along with a towing zone, on the following streets: Via Roma; Via Sedini to the intersection with Via Giua; Via Colombo to the intersection with Via Giovanni XXIII; Via Nazionale; Via Trieste; Via Salvino; Via Marina; Via Carducci; Via Trento (upper section) from the intersection with Confraternita di Santa Croce to Via Roma; Via Vespucci to the intersection with Via Giovanni XXII. All vehicles that obstruct the traffic will be towed away.
