Three stages, three atmospheres, three days of non-stop energy: Cagliari is preparing to welcome 2025 with a New Year's Eve that leaves no pauses or boundaries.
From December 30th to January 1st, the city transforms into a widespread stage, where each square tells a genre, a story, a public.
The heart of the celebration will beat on the night of December 31st in Piazza Yenne, where an all-female trio will light up the evening.
Opening the program will be Mimì Caruso, the young revelation who conquered X Factor 2024. Next up will be the unmistakable voice of Giusy Ferreri, a record-breaking artist: a diamond record, 16 platinum records, and over fifteen years of hits that have marked Italian music.
Then, at the stroke of midnight, the most anticipated performance will explode: MYSS Keta, a contemporary icon, a masked enigma, and the queen of shows that overturn stages and genres. They will also feature Cagliari singer Luvi! and a DJ set that will have the square dancing until 1:45 AM. Hosted by the visionary comedy of Lucido Sottile.
In Piazza San Giacomo, the night will be filled with rap music, featuring emerging local artists and a live performance by Sgribaz, one of the most iconic voices of the "Nuova Sardegna" collective.
At Bastione Santa Croce, however, the soundtrack will be entrusted to DJs JFK and Aste , leading names in the island's nightlife.
But the party starts earlier. On December 30th, the Bastione Santa Croce will host the "Croccante" format : from 6:00 PM to midnight, a long dance session featuring DJs Sheldon, Raffaele Sanna, Matthew Mas, Maxime Catena, and percussionist Pablo Puddu. Simultaneously, Piazza San Giacomo will offer a theatrical performance by Lucido Sottile, transforming New Year's Eve into a true preview.
On January 1st, the city will be rekindling its musical spirit : at 3 pm, Bastione Santa Croce will welcome Riccardo Mannai and his band on a journey through the greatest Italian hits from the 1960s to the present day; while from 4 pm, in Piazza San Giacomo, the atmosphere will be filled with jazz, blues, and funk thanks to the Jazzino.
