9:35 am, the gate of the temporary market in Piazza Nazzari, Cagliari, opens for the first time. The first customers, who had been waiting for the inauguration gathered in Via Sant'Alenixedda, enter the structure that will house the dealers during the years of restoration work in San Benedetto. And the applause breaks out.

As planned, the “temporary” Music Park will host San Benedetto dealers and customers for the next two years (at least), the time needed to carry out the redevelopment work in the old structure.

The parking lot with 172 parking spaces next to the entrance on Via Sant'Alenixedda is also ready, as is the entire transportation plan, with the changes to the traffic flow in the area already introduced last fall, and the CTM shuttle bus service to bring the entire neighborhood closer, from Via Paoli to Via Galilei, up to Via Manzoni, to the temporary structure, are operational.

"We are happy that the market activities are reopening after a short period of stoppage", 16 days, says the councilor for Economic Development and Productive Sectors Carlo Serra. "And we are also happy that we respected, as promised, the opening on March 18. Initially there will be a running-in phase", says the councilor, "the administration will continue to be present and ready to intervene if necessary".
