New interventions by the council for 595 fired workers: "This is how we promote reintegration"

New interventions are arriving in favor of 595 former Sardinia Green Island, Keller, Vesuvius, Ottana Polimeri and Ottana Energia, S&B Olmedo, Sittel and Unilever workers , recipients of the collective dismissal procedure.
This was decided by the Regional Council, in the last session, on the proposal of the Councilor for Labour, Ada Lai.
«An important intervention of active employment policy, which provides for employment in employment sites - declares the President of the Region, Christian Solinas - which will allow to safeguard professionalism and favor reintegration into the labor market , and at the same time guarantee the necessary household income support.
The Department of Labor has already assessed the feasibility of projects for the implementation of employment sites , not only with the participation of the local territorial authorities, but also through the involvement of the bodies of the regional system and the provincial industrial consortia.
«The Region, once again, is close to the male and female workers expelled from the market - said the Councilor for Labour, Ada Lai - who have already benefited from active policy measures in the past. We have already acquired the availability of the Directorate General of Civil Protection Sardinia for the implementation of employment sites, lasting no less than eight months, to be carried out in collaboration with the other bodies involved, operating by territorial jurisdiction, now we have to proceed with a preliminary verification to acquire the willingness of interested parties to be involved in this type of activity".
The resolution, the Region announces, instructs Aspal to " immediately activate a specific exploratory procedure aimed at identifying in advance the audience of subjects interested in the measure , who will have to declare their availability, the relative territorial locations and professional profiles, the the outcome of which must be communicated to the Directorate of Civil Protection of Sardinia, identified as the implementing body of the initiatives necessary for the prompt start of the employment sites, as well as to evaluate the exact amount of the necessary resources, already available".
The Civil Protection Directorate, in collaboration with the bodies operating in the territories concerned, will immediately prepare the necessary procedures for the activation of the construction sites for the employment of the subjects who have declared their availability.
