Two major shocks in just one week.

The first attack came from the Progressives, who called for a review of the government. The second, more significant because it was launched by the coalition's leading party, was heard two days ago at the Democratic Party Assembly in Tramatza.

Where there was talk of "seventeen months of light and shadow," of "the Government's results not being up to par," of excessive personalization on the part of those who lead it and the need for greater collegiality, and even of the Executive's limited capacity for legislative proposals.

Nerves are on edge, to say the least, given the constant and looming threat of President Alessandra Todde's dismissal, which could lead to the dissolution of the entire Sardinian Assembly and a return to the polls.

Some in the Campo Grande party are linking the possibility of early elections to the unrest of recent days, which has resulted in an almost unstoppable urge to highlight the critical issues with this government's actions, even to the point of distancing itself from some key decisions.
