Born in Verona on 26 February 1965, with a degree in Economics and Commerce, the new rossoblù sporting director began his managerial career in the summer of 1999 as sporting director at Brescello , in Serie C1, with the Emilian yellow-blues who came close to the historic promotion to Serie B, faded only in the playoff final against the Citadel. Then, after San Marino and Monza, he moved to Sassuolo in 2004 .
