After losing their opening match against Belgium, Italy are ready to fly to Türkiye to face Vincenzo Montella's national team in their second match of the Nations League.

Ten of the 33 players called up by the coach will be absent from the trip, remaining to train at Coverciano with part of the staff ahead of the trip to France and the match against the Turks in Bologna.

Those who will not be boarding the flight to Turkey include Rossoblu Daniel Maldini, Honest Ahanor, Nicolò Barella, Diego Coppola, Samuele Inacio, Eddy Kouadio, Gianluca Mancini, Massimo Pessina, Samuele Ricci, and Mohamed Alì Zoma, who will be working out at the Azzurri training center on a specific program.

The Italian coach made this decision to avoid subjecting the entire squad to a tiring transfer to Turkey, with the aim of better managing their preparations for the upcoming matches.
