National exhibition at the "Sanna" museum in Sassari: two weeks of closure for the new layout

The Regional Directorate of Museums of Sardinia has decided to temporarily close the "Giovanni Antonio Sanna" National Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum : from Monday 12 to Tuesday 27 June .
Closure necessary to create the new layout of the Sassari Museum . And not only. The works will coincide with the preparation of a national exhibition event which will be inaugurated in the next few days, probably already at the end of the month.
All the necessary activities are underway to organize and welcome the finds from the various national locations. What is now a construction site will soon reserve new surprises . One will certainly arise from the three-year agreement with the Egyptian Museum of Turin which could "lend" some of its jewels.
In recent weeks, however, an expert from the Turin museum has arrived in Sassari to study the Egyptianizing finds found in Tharros and present in the collection of the "Sanna" national archaeological and ethnographic museum.
