Radja Nainggolan reveals his “weaknesses” but says he is completely unrelated to international drug trafficking, a charge for which he was arrested three months ago and which was later dropped .

The former Cagliari midfielder, who married his ex-wife Claudia Lai in Sardinia, spoke to the television programme Bar Goens, explaining that he asked for a loan of 100 thousand euros from Nasr-Eddine Sekkaki, a well-known drug trafficker .

It was precisely this amount that made investigators suspect his involvement. "No drug trafficking," the Belgian clarified, " I was the one who needed the money, for gambling debts and the accounts blocked due to the divorce ."

For this reason, Radja allegedly turned to Sekkaki, who gave him the cash, which was then returned in installments, with bank transfers disguised as "construction investments" .
