Special episode of Monitor, Thursday 24 February at 9 pm, live on Videolina.
At the center of the study is the story of Marcello Acciaro, 60, a doctor and medical director. In October 2020 he "took" Covid and risked dying. Difficult days, weeks, months. A long hospital stay and a tiring rehabilitation. Then the rebirth and the choice to tell his experience.
The book "burst into him," as he wrote in the introduction.
His story is that of many other people who have crossed paths with this virus, have suffered and fought like him. The dedication is to those who fought Covid, to those who won but above all to those who lost. The Unione Sarda has chosen to publish his book, not to forget two dramatic years.
Guests of the episode will be Marcello Acciaro, general manager of Asl Olbia, and Sergio Babudieri, director of Microbiology Aou-Sassari. With Simona De Francisci and Lorenzo Paolini, co-director and editorial director of L'Unione Sarda.
