The guitarist from Sassari Marco Carta will be the protagonist of the concert scheduled in Porto Torres tomorrow, Saturday 24 May at 8 pm, in the chapter house in Atrio Comita, in the complex of the Basilica of San Gavino. This is the fourth event of the Musicando per la città review, organized by the Musicando Insieme association 2025 edition. The program includes the performance of pieces, expression of the baroque elegance of François Couperin, with his Les Sylvains” and Les Barricades Mystérieuses, passing through the brilliant guitar writing of Dionisio Aguado with the Andante and Rondò, and arriving at the pulsating and deep rhythms of the tango nuevo of Astor Piazzolla, with Invierno Porteño and La Muerte del Ángel.

A musical journey that touches the strings of Marco Carta's classical guitar in the evening that offers a repertoire with the Great Sonata in C major by Ferdinando Carulli, an authentic jewel of the classical guitar repertoire, to conclude with the majestic musical architecture of the Prelude, Fugue and Allegro by Johann Sebastian Bach, a page of intense spirituality and virtuosity. Marco Carta, graduated with honors from the "Luigi Canepa" Conservatory of Sassari, is the winner of over twenty awards in national and international competitions, including the London International Guitar Competition, the International Guitar Competition Jose Tomàs a Petrer in Spain, the Giulio Rospigliosi Competition, the Luigi Mozzani Competition, and the Riviera Etrusca.
