The North wind blows on Time in Jazz, which for its XXXVIII edition, entitled “What a wonderful world” and scheduled in Berchidda and its surroundings from 8 to 16 August, announces the participation of Anders Trentemøller.

The Danish musician, one of the most representative names on the Scandinavian scene, will be the protagonist in Piazza del Popolo on August 13 with his band: Emma Acs on vocals and synths, Brian Batz on guitar, Jens Hein on bass and Silas Tinglef on drums and guitar, as well as Trentemøller himself on synths.

After Stefano Bollani, the first artist officially announced for 2025 and scheduled to take to the main stage at Time in Jazz on August 11 , the festival directed by Paolo Fresu reveals the face of another big name. Born in 1972 and a native of Vordingborg, Trentemøller is known as a creator of memorable melodies and dark, atmospheric soundscapes, a formula developed over a career rich in productions and recordings: six studio albums (starting with “The Last Resort”, in 2006), various compilations and dozens of singles and remixes (Depeche Mode, Tricky, Pet Shop Boys, A Place To Bury Strangers, Soft Moon, Unkle and Franz Ferdinand) characterize his artistic path, where each release represents the next chapter in a constantly evolving series.

The new album “Dreamweaver” , released in September by his own label In My Room, continues on this path, combining elements of shoegaze, dark wave, motorik, noise rock and introspective sounds of electronic dream pop.

Since forming his first live band in 2007 , Trentemøller has toured the world several times, playing over 500 concerts and regularly selling out: with this track record, the live show on August 13th in Berchidda is set to be one of the summer's top events.
