An impressive program for the 22nd edition of the international jazz festival. And intense, because the 35 concerts are concentrated from 3 to 21 August , with a preview in Laerru on 10 July and a queue on 30 August in Alghero . Music at dawn and sunsets in twelve different municipalities thanks to "Musica sui Bocche", organized by the Jana Project association.

The artistic director Enzo Favata highlighted: “This festival not only creates culture with big names in the jazz scene, but also experiential and cultural tourism, for this reason the choice of making a stop also in some small towns in Northern Sardinia. We start from La Maddalena and before arriving in Castelsardo the festival also touches Martis, Tergu, Nulvi, Valledoria, Chiaramonti, Bulzi, Porto Torres and Ploaghe ”.

Among the prominent names the Maverick Orchestra , formed by the saxophonist Favata himself, plus Santimone (piano), Mirra (vibraphone and Marimba), Gallo (bass), Drago (violin), Cisilino (trumpet and trombone), Frattini (drums). He will perform on 3 August in La Maddalena and on 30 August in Alghero .

On August 4th in La Maddalena an unprecedented Irene Grandi with the show “Io in blues”. There will also be a show at Asinara (17) with the Servillo-Girotto-Mangalavite trio that pays homage to Lucio Dalla.

From 19 August the festival arrives in Castelsardo . Among the many concerts to highlight that of the Nils Petter Molvaer Quartet and on 20 August that of the cabaret player but also the guitarist Stefano Nosei with the show "And if James Taylor were a jazz player?".

"Music on the mouths" is included in the billboard of "Salude & Trigu", the container of the Chamber of Commerce of Northern Sardinia.
