The stars of entertainment arrive in the enchanting locations of Gallura with the Bernardo De Muro music festival. Luras, Tempio, Arzachena, Santa Teresa Gallura are among the locations that will host famous actors and musicians: from Michele Placido to Gianmarco Tognazzi, from the Alter Echo Quartet to Laura Morante, the formula is that of a traveling festival that wants to unite the arts ; important incursions into the work of Giacomo Puccini, whose centenary of his death marks the centenary of his death, and into the great Neapolitan music.
Departure on July 5th, at 9pm, in the suggestive Santu Baltolu, in Luras, at the foot of the thousand-year-old olive tree where the recital “Peppe Servillo reads Marcovaldo” is expected: the Neapolitan singer and actor, accompanied on guitar by Cristiano Califano, brings to the stage one of the most famous characters in Italian literature, in a tribute to Italo Calvino. On July 9th we arrive in Arzachena where the setting will be the Albucciu nuraghe ; here, starting at 9.30 pm, accompanied by the Unison Trio (Paolo Luiso, piano, Filippo De Salvo, bass, Saverio Petruzzellis, drums), the Spanish actor Sergio Muñiz will tell "Tra le mie Waves", a paradigm of our interior life, directed by Michele Mirabella.
On July 11th we return to upper Gallura, to Tempio Pausania, where, in the Fonti amphitheater, “Prime donne” will be staged, the homage to Giacomo Puccini which sees Laura Morante on stage. Again in Tempio, in the same setting, on July 23rd Luca Barbareschi takes to the stage in “Barba life”: his ironic, counter-current, pop, free live show which sees the actor as the protagonist on a journey into the culture of yesterday and today and of the future with an intelligent and curious approach together with Marco Zurzolo's band. On August 5th, at the Albucciu nuraghe in Arzachena, from 9.30pm, Michele Placido will be the protagonist of the "Evening of Honour". Poems and monologues taken from Dante, Neruda, Montale, D'Annunzio, the verses of the most important Neapolitan poets and writers such as Salvatore Di Giacomo, Raffaele Viviani, Eduardo De Filippo and the Neapolitan classics interpreted by Gianluigi Esposito and Antonio Saturno, make the show one insight into the actor's intense artistic training.
On August 6th we disembark in Santa Teresa Gallura ; starting at 9.30 pm, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the actor Gian Marco Tognazzi will play Paul McCartney in the show “Paul McCartney and the Beatles. Two legends”: the journey into the myth of the English band is entrusted to the narrating voice of the actor and the Saverio Mercadante chamber orchestra which will perform some of their most famous songs, reworked and arranged. Finally, between 2nd and 7th August, there will also be the long-awaited tour of the "Alter echo string quartet", with a program currently being defined.
«The dialogue between the different arts and performing arts – comments the president of the Bernardo De Muro Academy, Sara Russo – is the common thread of this new edition of the festival: a virtuous dialogue between music, words and dance. We reserve the right to reveal some other announcements in the near future that will enrich the program."
«We have worked intensely to offer a rich and varied program – says the artistic director of the Academy, Fabrizio Ruggero –, which enhances not only the extraordinary artistic abilities of our guests, but also the magnificent archaeological, environmental and historical heritage of Gallura. We are proud to bring culture, art and music to the most evocative places of our land, creating a unique combination of entertainment and landscape. Our festival intends to enhance this connection, bringing artistic performances into scenarios that not only act as a backdrop, but become an integral part of the experience."
