In the last set, Musetti had to deal with a muscle injury, which also required the intervention of a doctor and physiotherapist.

"It's not easy to talk after this ending, which is not what I had imagined: I hoped to be able to play it to the end, and it wasn't like that," commented Musetti, with a muscle injury that slowed him down in the third set.
