Muravera, everyone at Sardinian language school with free lessons

There are entrepreneurs, traders, pensioners but also many young people from Muravera, Villaputzu and San Vito. This week everyone started following the in-person Sardinian lessons held by Danilo Melis, young municipal councilor of San Vito and promoter - together with the Suìa association - of the "Sardinian language office of Sarrabus" project. Free lessons «to defend and enhance our identity – underlined Melis – and I am really satisfied due to the high number of participants».
On the blackboard, in the first of the twelve free lessons, the words arrongiolu, scraponi, abba, babbu, craba. Pronunciation, grammar, sayings for the first basic Sardinian language course. Course taking place at the Luigi Einaudi technical institute in Muravera.
But this is just one of the initiatives that the Municipalities of Muravera, Villaputzu and San Vito are carrying out in recent days. In fact, advanced courses in history and architecture, a course in Sardinian economics and cultural activities to promote language are also planned. These include meetings in fish ponds, walks in citrus groves and guided visits to museums and mines. Everything strictly in the Sardinian language.
