Municipalities in Sassari, Mascia is mayor in the first round

Giuseppe Mascia is the new mayor of the city of Sassari. The electoral count has just concluded, decreeing the triumph of the Campo Largo candidate who exceeded the 51% threshold.

The gap from the second place, Nicola Lucchi, leader of the Civics, is impressive and received less than half of the votes in the 140 sections examined.

A landslide victory that is surprising, in part, for its proportions because the match, at least with Lucchi and Gavino Mariotti, frontman of the centre-right, seemed more balanced.

Enthusiasm skyrocketed in the PD headquarters in Viale Mazzini, packed in every space.
