Definitive results are missing, official status is awaited. But there is already an air of celebration in the electoral seat of the center-right candidate, the gap with the opponent Efisio Sanna is widening more and more and the victory in the first round now appears to be taken for granted.

20.03 - Lanusei, Davide Burchi towards reconfirmation

Only official status is missing, but Davide Burchi, a 44-year-old lawyer, has been reconfirmed for his second term as mayor of Lanusei. His civic list "Energia per Lanusei" took 51% of the votes - according to data not yet made official by the Interior Ministry - beating by measure the "Progetto Comune per Lanusei" list led by Marco Melis, former mayor of Arzana, who stopped to 49%.

A heart-stopping count is that of the Ogliastra town, where the difference between Burchi and Melis is between 50 and 60 votes and in some moments has slightly exceeded 10 votes. Now only the final count is awaited.

"It was a hard-fought challenge that makes me even more satisfied with the result - said the new mayor Burchi - I want to thank the voters and my team for this re-election in a city that doesn't usually reconfirm a mayor for a second term: it had happened only once 20 years ago and this places an even greater responsibility on me. "

Ballot operations are very slow in Oristano, the only provincial capital called to vote in Sardinia, but the feedback sent by the list representatives in the polling stations confirms the consolidated advantage of the center-right candidate Massimiliano Sanna (Riformatori).

According to the latest update, it stood at 53.1%. Far behind is the candidate of the center-left also supported by the M5s, Efisio Sanna: he is in fact credited with 39.7%, perhaps penalized by the excellent and unexpected result of Sergio Locci (civic list), up to 5.6% so far. The fourth aspiring mayor, Filippo Murgia (civic), is instead stopped at 1.2%. This being the case, Massimiliano Sanna will win in the first round.

On the Viminale website, only 3 out of 36 sections are scrutinized.

The outgoing mayor and center-right candidate Gigi Concu is getting closer to winning the first round in Selargius. According to the unofficial data collected in the sections Concu is ahead of more than twenty points on the opponent of the center-left Franco Camba.

The data refer to 66% of the ballots scrutinized. Concu is at 58.9%, Camba at 38.6. If the results were to be confirmed, there would be no need for a ballot. The third candidate Manuela Chia is 2.3%.
