The right of Sardinians to mobility is worth nothing, that of Sicilians is paid for in gold. In the 2024 budget law the Sicilian "cousins" will find themselves a "little gift" of 14.6 billion, intended for the construction of the Bridge over the Strait; for the territorial continuity of our island, however, just 4.965 million have been allocated.

Michele Cossa, Reformers, doesn't fit. «Insularity costs us a quarter of our GDP every year. It is unacceptable that at a national level they continue to ignore this fact."

Dem MP Silvio Lai: «If the 14 billion were allocated to the railway network of Sardinia and Sicily, 700 kilometers of tracks could be built for trains capable of running 200 per hour».

Alessandra Zedda, the Italian member of the Regional Council: «It is unthinkable to concentrate all resources on the recognition of Sicilian insularity by putting Sardinia out of play».
