A night of adrenaline, technique, and spectacular punches ignited the outdoor spaces of the N°2 gym on Via Toti, where the ninth edition of “The Night of Super Fight” took place, the Muay Thai gala organized by Alessandro Alias’s Alias Gym.
From 10pm until 2:30am, twelve matches kept the crowd on the edge of their seats, culminating in the awarding of the Italian AM WBC title.
The highly attended event was structured into two distinct moments: Under Card and Main Card.
The evening opened with two light contact matches: Marco Floris (9 Monkeys Academy) and Noemi Rinetti (Cerbero Gym) won their respective matches, one men's and one women's.
Before the full-contact bouts began, the ring welcomed Nicola Mancosu, the newly crowned Italian bantamweight boxing champion.
He was awarded a special recognition directly from Alessandro Alias, in a symbolic moment that ideally united the combat disciplines.
In the UC full contact section, the home athletes shone: Enrico Cuccu, Daniele Friargiu and Giovanni Fulgheri, all representing Alias Gym, achieved clear victories.
On the main card, the level was further raised with international matches and highly technical and spectacular fights. Prestigious victories went to: Alessandra Manenti (Yamabushi Gym), who defeated France's Melissa Osouf (TKAO Muay Thai); Mattia Tappara (Wolves' Den), who defeated Sicilian Angelo Fiamingo (Dinamita); Tayro Muru (Team Muru), who defeated Badr Ghazi (Imbesi) by TKO; Elisabetta Solinas (Thaipan Gym), who delivered a lightning-fast performance against Spain's Nerea Rubio (KO after just 30 seconds!); Federico Mazza (SMTA), who knocked out Muzzi Hamdaoui (Thai Boxing Bellinzona); and Francesco Sotgiu (Thaipan Gym), who defeated Sweden's Lucas Porst (South Side Arena).
The grand finale featured the most anticipated match: Matteo Zucca, 18, a Sardinian talent from Alias Gym , faced and defeated Luca Buonamico (26, Team Tagliente) for the Italian AM WBC title. After five intense two-minute rounds, Zucca won the belt with a unanimous decision, securing the first title of his young career.
