Mozart again, and the next appointment with the Spring Concerts, organized in Sassari by the Ellipsis Cultural Association. On Tuesday at 8:30 pm in the Sassu Hall of the Canepa Conservatory, the Talos Quintet string quintet and pianist Piero Rotolo will perform. The Talos Quintet is made up of instrumentalists graduated from the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatory of Bari: Alfonso Mastrapasqua and Ida Ninni (violins), Francesco Capuano (viola), Fabio De Leonardis (cello), and Giuseppe Lillo (double bass).
The Salzburg genius's Divertimento for Strings No. 3 in F major, K138, and Concerto No. 21 in C major , KV467, will be performed. The first, composed in 1772, when the composer was only 16 years old, is one of the three Divertimenti for Strings that mark the transition to the young Mozart's artistic maturity.
The Concerto written for piano and strings dated 1785, which will be performed in Sassari for chamber music, is among the composer's best known, in particular the second of the three movements, the Andante , the most intimate and lyrical, compared by some critics to Chopin's Nocturnes .
