Bad news for motorists in Sardinia: even on the island, in fact, the increase in motor liability insurance - which began almost a year and a half ago - shows no signs of slowing down.

This was reported by the Observatory of Facile.it, which also provides eloquent numbers.

In just 12 months, the average premium paid in the province of Cagliari to insure a four-wheeler increased by 16.7% to 467.70 euros.

But the situation is no different in the other provinces: the most significant increase is Nuoro (+24.7%, 459.22 euros) , followed by Sassari (+24.5%, 455. 87 euros). Price increases below the regional average, however, for Oristano (+17.5%, 381.91 euros) and Cagliari (+16.7%, 467.70 euros).

The average increase at the regional level is therefore close to 20%, with motorists on the island spending an average of 457 euros to insure their cars.
