Jorge Martin (Aprilia) won the Sprint Race at the Austin circuit, MotoGP class. Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) finished second, followed by Pedro Acosta (KTM).

After crossing the finish line of the sprint race in Austin, elated at his return to victory, Bagnaia launched a long wheelie in celebration, but when he brought the front wheel back to the asphalt he lost control of his Aprilia, crashed and slid for a long time on the track.
