Michele Guerra , mayor of Parma , is the most beloved mayor in Italy. Among the governors, however, first place in terms of citizens' approval goes to Massimiliano Fedriga , president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.

Il Sole 24 Ore publishes the annual administrator approval ranking and today released the new data from the “Governance Poll” survey developed by the Noto Sondaggi opinion poll institute.

On the podium of the ranking of the most loved mayors, after Guerra (at 63%) are two other exponents of the centre-left: Gaetano Manfredi (Naples) and Michele De Pascale (Ravenna).

After Fedriga, however, the most loved governors are Stefano Bonaccini (Emilia-Romagna, who resigned after being elected in Brussels at the European elections last June) and Luca Zaia , at the helm of the Veneto Region.

As regards the administrators with the worst approval, in last place in the Il Sole ranking are Roberto Gualtieri (Rome) and Roberto Galla (Palermo) among the mayors, while the ones bringing up the rear among the governors are Francesco Rocca (Lazio), Michele Emiliano (Puglia) and Francesco Acquaroli (Marche).

And the mayor of Cagliari and the governor of Sardinia ? This year they are not present.

Il Sole 24 Ore has in fact decided not to take into consideration the Municipalities and Regions that went to vote in 2024, thus not including in the investigation either the opinion on the outgoing Paolo Truzzu and Christian Solinas or that on the incoming candidates Massimo Zedda and Alessandra Todde .
