The "silence" around the new recovery plan presented to save Moby-Cin from bankruptcy worries the Onorato Group.

After the substantial green light from the other creditors - banks and bondholders - the Court of Milan gave time until March 31 to close the legal matter linked to the bankruptcy request but the credit claim claimed by Tirrenia in extraordinary administration remains to be defined, of 180 million euros.

"We have offered € 144 million to Tirrenia in AS - reads a note from the Moby Group - It should also be emphasized that despite Tirrenia AS is an unsecured creditor, therefore without any real guarantee on the company's assets, the writer has four ships with mortgage offered as guarantee. We are seriously worried by the attitude of Mise and Minister Giorgetti: it is inexplicable that he has never opened, despite repeatedly requested, even by the trade unions, a discussion table ". "It is also inexplicable - continues the note from the Group - that it does not respond to an offer that provides for an immediate payment upon signature of 23 million euros (which in the event of bankruptcy proceedings would be collected by Tirrenia in AS only after a few years and would constitute the maximum recoverable amount) and a further deferred payment of 121 million euros guaranteed, as mentioned, by a mortgage on four ships. It is also inexplicable the communication of 5 May 2021 with which the commissioners of Tirrenia in AS informed us that the Minister Giorgetti authorized them to sign the agreement already prepared but with the insertion of two clauses that the certifier of the plan has defined illegitimate, because in open violation of the law and the par condicio creditorum and communicated all this to the Court of Milan ".

"Finally, once again inexplicable - concludes the Onorato Group - the absolute indifference on the part of Mise to the fate of a group of companies that employs over six thousand families, mainly from the South".
