Double away victory for Matteo Dore of Tarantini Fight Club. The athlete from Sassari won in Bastia at the international Corsica Fight League MMA (mixed martial arts) gala after an intense match against Frenchman Loic Monteiro , an athlete from the junior national team.
Dore, already an Italian junior, showed solidity both in striking and in groundwork, controlling the pace for three rounds.
Coach Paride Scanu was in the corner, directing the strategy during a hard-fought fight, but one that was always in the hands of the Sassari athlete. At the end of the three rounds, the judges had no doubts: a unanimous decision and victory for Dore.
The evening ended with an additional award: Dore was named best athlete of the event, a sign that confirms the young fighter's growth on the European amateur circuit.

Maestro Angelo Tarantini , a key figure in the regional movement and a member of the national technical committee, also expressed satisfaction: "The work we've been carrying out for years with our boys and girls is starting to bear increasingly ripe fruit. Results like this demonstrate that we're on the right path."
