Oristano is preparing to crown the new Miss Sardinia . On Saturday, August 29th, at 9:00 PM , the heart of the city will host the regional final of Miss Italia Sardegna 2026 , the final round of selections that have involved the entire island in recent months.

The finalists from the various provincial and regional competitions will take to the stage in Piazza Eleonora . At the end of the evening, the Miss Sardinian will be announced to represent Sardinia in the national stages of the competition. Of the already awarded categories, Miss Miluna Sardegna went to 18-year-old Melissa Floris from Paulilatino, Miss Cinema Sardegna to 22-year-old Beatrice Mascia from Pula, and Miss Framesi Sardegna to 19-year-old Martina Porcu from Porto Torres.

The evening will also feature a show celebrating the island's identity, showcasing fashion, art, music, and craftsmanship . Guests include Zigno, Tiziana Cabboi, and Rosalba Piras. The new dress dedicated to Eleonora d'Arborea and the winning design from the competition promoted by regional representative Marcella Piano, designed by designer Claudia Pibiri, are eagerly awaited.

Miss Sardinia 2025, Sofia Pintore, will be the godmother of the ceremony, accompanying the handover to the new queen.

"Hosting the Miss Italia regional finals in Oristano is a source of great satisfaction and represents a significant promotional opportunity for our city," said Mayor Massimiliano Sanna. "Piazza Eleonora d'Arborea will be the setting for an event that will attract both a large audience and media attention, while also allowing us to showcase Oristano through its history, culture, and traditions."
