A Sardinian brand, a true protagonist at Milan Fashion Week.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 23, at 10:30 a.m. at the Leonardo Da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Via San Vittore 21, Miss Bikini will present its Spring/Summer 2026 collection. The brand was created in the late 1980s by Andrea Teofilatto, then 27, from Tempio on his mother's side, and his then-girlfriend Alessandra Piacentini, 5 years his junior.

In the summer of '88, the couple, who were very attached to the island, were on the beach of Celvia, near Porto Cervo, and had the idea for a line of costumes a little more daring than those in fashion at the time.

Today Miss Bikini is a leading company in the production of swimwear and sees Teofilatto at the helm, supported by his wife Alessandra and his sister-in-law Francesca Piacentini, as designers.

Many celebrities have walked the Miss Bikini pageant in the past: Elisabetta Canalis was the guest of honor at the 2012 Milan fashion show, and even Naomi Campbell in the early 2000s.

"This collection," explains the founder of Miss Bikini, "is about women reinventing themselves every day: elegant and rebellious, creative and authentic, proud of their difference. It evokes eternal icons like Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin, their gypsy dresses, woven bags, long strands of necklaces brushing the skin, hair flowing in the breeze: every detail becomes a hymn to freedom, a whisper of passion, a tribute to love that renews and blossoms anew. The Miss Bikini Luxe SS26 fashion show," continues Andrea Teofilatto, "is an exhortation to walk proudly in your own skin, to rediscover your direction by setting out on a journey where every look is a step towards a horizon to be experienced as a protagonist."
