«We want to win again for many reasons: because the period in which we have gone without a victory is too long. Because second place is an important objective and is not completely achieved. Because we are professionals, out of pride and respect for our club, for our fans and all the motivations that go into this match": this is the promise that Milan coach Stefano Pioli makes to the Rossoneri fans on the eve of the match against Cagliari at San Siro.
The Rossoneri have not won since Milan-Lecce on 6 April. And the coach wants to start doing it again against the rossoblù who are playing for salvation.
The uncertainty about the future, then, led the Curva Sud to call the supporter's strike against Genoa and seems intent on doing the same tomorrow. «I believe that the club», explains Pioli, «has demonstrated in recent years that it knows how to work and can be ambitious. Then I repeat: I believe that all together we must try to finish this championship in the best possible way, then the club will try to give the right answers at the right time."
