There are also three Sardinian restaurants among the 29 new entries of the restaurants awarded the Bib Gourmand recognition by the Michelin Italy 2024 Guide . That is, the smiling face of the Michelin Man licking his chops, a pictogram (which only 257 businesses can display in Italy) indicating a restaurant that offers «a pleasant gastronomic experience, with a complete menu at an excellent quality-price ratio» .
On the island, from today they will be able to display the prestigious effigy and be included in the prestigious red guide: ChiaroScuro from Cagliari, 'lOld Friend, also in Cagliari, and Sa Mandra from Alghero.
«In these places - explains Sergio Lovrinovich, Director of the Michelin Italy Guide - the territory is on stage, not always proposed in a traditional way, but always with attention to taste, product and supply chain».
The regions with the most Bib Gourmands are Emilia-Romagna (34), Lombardy (29) and Piedmont (28).
