Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, world No. 1, won the women's singles tournament at the Miami Open. The fourth WTA 1000 of the season, with a prize pool of $8,963,700, concluded on the hard courts of the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL's Miami Dolphins.

In the final, Sabalenka defeated American Jessica Pegula 7-5 6-2 . The Belarusian had reached the final act after defeating Italian Jasmine Paolini 6-2 6-2 in the semifinals.
