The Menarini Fair Play Award returns, now in its 30th edition, and will award the champions of the 2026 edition on July 2nd at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence.

The winners were revealed during the presentation ceremony held in the CONI's Salone d'Onore. Among them are Achille Polonara (basketball), Antonella Palmisano (athletics), Chiara Mazzel (Paralympic skiing), Daniele Garozzo (fencing), Gianfranco Zola (soccer), Gregorio Paltrineri (swimming), Simone Anzani (volleyball), Armand Duplantis (athletics), and the Olympic ice skating trio of Davide Ghiotto, Andrea Giovannini, and Michele Malfatti. Nine disciplines were represented for an award that, as emphasized by CONI President Luciano Buonfiglio, has always honored "ethics, respect, and legality. The word respect encompasses all the values of sport; to be independent, you must respect the environment you find yourself in. Using shortcuts gets you nowhere, and you must be consistent. The young people we are honoring today are an example of ethics and respect."

During the ceremony, recognition was also given to Alberto Belluzzi (fencing), Gloria Tinaburri (horse riding), and Matteo Pasqualetti (volleyball), three young people who stood out for their performances and who received the Menarini "Young" Fair Play Award.
