Memory in Algherese, the game to teach the language to the little ones

There is the Paparra (the tick), the Tilingoni (the earthworm), the Puça (the flea), the Carramerda (the dung beetle), the Juliol (the ladybug), the Abella (the bee), the Tintula (the mosquito), the Poll (the louse), the Escarabat (the cockroach) and all the rest of the insects in the Memory in Algherese published by the Generalitat de Catalunya in collaboration with the Office of Linguistic Policies of the Municipality of Alghero.

The memory game for children tells and depicts insects with their names in Algherese with effective graphics and particularly suitable for teaching the language to the little ones. This is the third game published, after the one dedicated to vegetables and fruit and animals.

The work, which will be presented on April 23 at 11 am at the Torre de Sulis, is called Insectes i altres animalets and represents one of the important linguistic events dedicated to the little ones in the calendar of cultural events of the Sant Jordi a l'Alguer 2025 event.

The initiative is promoted by the Delegation of the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia in Italy in collaboration with the Office of Linguistic Policies of the Municipality of Alghero and linguistically edited by Carla Valentino. The game is published by EADOP – Edicions de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
