Tomorrow morning, the prime minister had scheduled a meeting with the president of the EU Parliament, Roberta Metsola , who is visiting Rome. The appointment was at 11.30, according to Metsola's official schedule.

Furthermore, on Saturday Meloni was expected in Munich for the Security Conference , although the commitment had not yet been officially confirmed by Palazzo Chigi.

It will skip both events.

In the afternoon, however, he chaired the meeting of the Council of Ministers remotely.
