The international festival curated by the Associazione Arte in Musica is moving to the Cathedral of Alghero, after the events in the Basilica del Sacro Cuore in Sassari. Tomorrow at 8:30 pm the Festival del Mediterraneo proposes an exceptional trio: the organist Fabio Frigato , the trumpeters Antonio Mura , professor at the “Canepa” Conservatory of Sassari, and Roberto Rivellini , trumpet of the Rai National Symphony Orchestra.

The program includes the concert for two trumpets and organ, the famous Concerto for two trumpets and orchestra RV 537 by Antonio Vivaldi (arranged by Jean Thilde), Sonata in C major by Domenico Gabrielli, Sonata in D major by Petronio Franceschini and Concerto in C major by Francesco Manfredini (arr. Alceo Toni).

Fabio Frigato will perform for organ solo Introitus by Riccardo Collu, the Praeludium in E minor BuxWV 142 by Dietrich Buxtehude, Gott hat alles wohlgemacht , fourth movement of the Cantata Geist und Seele wird verwirret BWV 35 by Johann Sebastian Bach, composed in Leipzig in 1726 on the occasion of the XII Sunday after Trinity, and the organ transcription of the Fantasia in F minor for mechanical organ K 594 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
